About Goodyear Auto Service

Goodyear Auto Service Centers are full-service tire and automotive repair stores wholly owned and operated by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

Goodyear Auto Service is one of the tire shops listed in Eugene, Oregon. The business is registered at 164 W 7th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Google also lists it under auto repair shop, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–6:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Goodyear Auto Service at (541) 343-2501; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is goodyear.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 251 reviews, which is a strong result for a tire shop in Eugene and suggests consistent service.

On Friday night and into Saturday morning, I found myself stranded in downtown Eugene with a flat tire on my beloved Porsche Boxster. I won't go into the whole sordid story of how she ended up being flat-bedded three blocks to the Goodyear store, but that's exactly what happened. The tow truck carefully set her down in a parking spot right in front of the store. Knowing they opened at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, I caught an Uber home, worried about my baby sitting out there all alone. At 8:00 that morning, I called the store and was greeted by a customer service angel named Andrew. The first thing he told me was, "Yes, we have your car, and I've already looked you up in the system." Then came the bad news: they didn't have the summer tires my Boxster needed, and he couldn't locate them through their suppliers. Rather than simply telling me I was out of luck, Andrew went above and beyond. He spent the next couple of hours helping me search for tires, checking every possible option and genuinely trying to solve the problem. In the end, we discovered that my car didn't actually have run-flat tires on it after all. After doing a little research, I decided to switch to all-season tires inst

Staff were awesome, and eager to answer any and all questions. They went out of their way to show me everything about tires and changed them on the car very efficiently. Would recommend to anyone.

Beware of this place! I had 4 New tires mounted on New wheels in the bed of my truck (I bought them from a friend that they didn’t fit after purchasing online). So,I wanted those New tires dismounted from the New wheels they were on, and the New tires mounted on the wheels that were already on the truck. Take the old tires put them in the bed of my truck along with the New wheels so I can post the old tires and New wheels on Marketplace or Craigslist for a few hundred dollars (old tires were $250 each when I bought them new 6 years ago now $380 each). They were in good shape, had lots of tread left, no punctures ever, and I don’t drive the truck much at all, so maybe 15k miles max on the old ones. I just wanted to go with a less aggressive tire. I approved the $300 for Goodyear to take the New tires/wheels in the bed of the truck and install the New tires onto the wheels that where already on the truck, So, I would be taking home a loose set of 4 New wheels and 4 Used tires. When I got home I was taking photos of the Used tires to put them up for sale. Then I see Goodyear had torn a large chunk out of one used tires I was posting for sale. The day after noticing what they had done

Unfortunately I had a bad experience trying to get tires here. I called to ask about tire sizing and I was specifically looking to upsize a little bit from stock. The Internet was undecided on what tire size would be best so I decided to ask the supposed professional I was on the phone with what he could recommend... He was quite rude in his tone and said "uhhh we don't really have that information, we usually just look at the size on the door. You should be able to figure out on Google. I can Google it for you if you want I guess." I was honestly surprised at the lack of professionalism. EVERY other tire company I called had a much better answer, even if they weren't sure about what tire size I should go with. So, I said "no thank you, I'll be going with another tire store. I have already done my own research, but I figured I'd get a second opinion from the professionals putting on my tires before I made a decision." Lost a potential customer, discount tire did a fantastic job.

Fast courteous tire replacement service, with good advice on vehicle service future needs. No high pressure sales given... much appreciated doing business with these folks.
